Entry fee £5.00 per turnout to include rosettes and refreshments
Turnouts may be shared, and driven by more than one Whip.
Programme:
You will be assessed on the cleanliness, fit and suitability for attending a BDS Training Day.
Points will be awarded throughout the day.
There will be a quiz based on your knowledge of Carriage Driving, and you will get the chance to drive some shapes, some cones, and a simple obstacle.
None of it will be timed, as accuracy and style are what we are looking for.
Further instructions will be sent when you have entered.
Drinks available - bring sandwiches.
Hard hats are recommended. Animals should be clean and free from mud, but they will not be expected to be clipped, plaited or bathed. Horses need not be shod as there is no road work involved.
Please make every effort to attend and meet everyone again at the start of the season.
